Benalmadena Pueblo
This spacious property is situated in the quaint Spanish village of Benalmadena Pueblo, which is surrounded by scenic mountains and panoramic views of the local coastline. This village is only15 minutes drive to the beach and 20 minutes drive to Malaga airport.
Benalmadena Pueblo is popular with tourists and locals all year round, as there is always something to celebrate with many festivals and carnivals throughout the year. The main celebration is the spectacular `del Carmen’ Parade, where locals carry the image of the Virgin Mary and Jesus through the beautiful streets. There are an abundance of lemon and orange trees and beautiful flowers throughout the village, which makes in one of the prettiest places to visit.
Local Attractions
The local bus route is a 5 minute walk away and takes only 5 minutes to reach the nearest town of Arroyo de la Miel (River of Honey). This town has a regular train service between Malaga and Fuengirola. There are many interesting places to visit along that coastline, and if you want to see the famous city of Marbella and luxury of Puerto Banus there is a great connecting bus service to both places.
Nearby Malaga is a very historical city with many famous monuments and a predominately Moorish influence. This city’s famous attractions include the Picasso Museum, the imposing Baroque Cathedral of `La Manquita’ (One Armed Woman) and the Moorish `Alcazaba’ Fortress which dates back to 1065. If you like shopping, lots of typical Spanish eateries and bars, this is the place to visit.
Tivoli Theme Park and the famous scenic cable car rides take only 5 minutes by car, both of which attract thousands of visitors per year.
