Tarot Reading

Tarot Reading
Tarot reading is a great skill and can be learnt by most people through study and practice. It can help guide yourself and others in day to day life, with longer term directions and decisions.  The art of tarot dates back to medieval times, it is reported to originate in Northern Italy in the 15th Century.  The tarot was regularly used in a card game similar to current day Bridge.  The tarot is used to give guidance and enlightenment to the reader or questioner (the person who is asking advice from the tarot).
The most popular questions that are asked during a tarot reading are around love and relationships.  So as a professional tarot reader, as you can imagine you will be the most popular person with family and friends – which is always a good way to practice before starting off professionally.  I had read the tarot cards for friends for many years, but was too complacent to learn the meanings of the cards without referring to a book.  The trouble with this is, you own thoughts for the meanings of the cards can become clouded and not as clear as they can be.  However, I must admit that sometimes I would not use my book (often after a couple of glasses of wine) and my readings became much more accurate.

I have now studied the art of tarot reading in my capacity as the Director of Luna Online Home Studies Learning and Development, and I can honestly report that Trish Kershaw’s presentation of Professional Tarot Reading is excellent.  The course guides you into using your own intuition to interpret the meanings of the cards, uses a step by step approach giving the meaning and groupings of cards and lots of information on different spreads. The course also gives you fantastic tips on setting up as a professional reader, what to do before, during and after a reading, It is the most comprehensive course and really entertaining so there is no chance of you not enjoying it.
Luna Online Home Studies has received excellent feedback on this course and all of our other courses in Aromatherapy, Reiki 1 and 2, Palmistry, Colour and Angel Therapy and Crystal Healing.  As part of our research we needed to know what our competitors were selling, and I have to say that I was appalled at the poor quality of these courses, particularly the amount of money they were charging.  In some cases it took almost a week to receive the course, the information given was almost like reading a book (in some cases there were just 3 pages in a lesson with the text spread to look as if there is more to read), I was so bored with the course that I just didn’t  finish  it!.  As a qualified trainer, I know that a student needs to be interested in what they are reading so that the learning can be retained.  The information needs to be pertinent, and useful if a person is going to practice professionally.  I have reviewed all of our courses; we have developed excellent learning reviews that make the student really think about their answers.  This helps them to remember what they have learnt.  Our exams may not be that easy, but we can honestly say that it does help you to check your learning before you practice professionally.

If you require any further information or details on our courses, please email or call Trish or myself and we will be happy to assist.  During your study we will always be there to help address any questions or issues that you might have – when you purchase a Luna Online Home Study course we guarantee that will will provide you with this service.  Remember all of our courses are accreditated by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), which enables you practice professionally and obtain the relevant business insurance.
