They can be used to help us gain the most from positive thinking, as it is our old habits and patterns of thinking that do us the most harm. We can use colour to move stagnant energy and change our ingrained patterns of thoughts often developed in childhood. How often have we repeated phrases to ourselves such as, \u201cI\u2019m no good at maths\u201d, \u201cI can&#8217;t draw\u201d, \u201cI always mess things up\u201d, etc, etc, until we start to believe them and actually make them true. What we need to do is superimpose new positive thought forms that will attract positive energy to us. Soon the new thought forms will become real, bringing wonderful changes to our life.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2240\" title=\"colour wheel\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.onlinehomestudies.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/tumblr_kpd6il2GQj1qz7rqso1_400-150x150.png\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><br \/>\nIt is best to create an affirmation by thinking of the qualities of a particular colour. Make the affirmation short and easy to say. You should then repeat this as often as you can. Practising these on waking up in the morning and before you go to sleep at night are excellent times to do this. It only takes a minute and does not disturb yours, or anyone else&#8217;s, routine.\u00a0 Here are some suggestions for affirmations you might like try:<br \/>\n<strong>RED:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Every day, I am energised and revitalised by the colour red.<br \/>\nThe red ray brings me strength and safety to all that I must face.<br \/>\nI love life and wish to live it to the full.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ORANGE:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0The magnetic orange ray is drawn up through my feet and fills me with strength and vitality.<br \/>\nThe orange ray brings me joy and happiness.<br \/>\nI can release and let go all the emotions I do not need at this time.<br \/>\n<strong>YELLOW:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0The golden-yellow light empowers me, lighting up my whole being.<br \/>\nI am worthy of my own self-love.<br \/>\nThe yellow ray brings clarity to my thinking and wisdom in my affairs.<br \/>\nGREEN:\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The green cosmic ray fills my heart, soothing and healing my whole being.<br \/>\nWith the colour green I restore balance and harmony to every cell in my body.<br \/>\nLove is the purpose of my life.
